It's Great News for First Home Buyers! Have you heard....

  1. The Reserve Bank has just announced another 1% interest rate drop from 5.25% down to 4.25%. This could save the average homeowner around another $200 per month. There’s even talk of more rate reductions next month!
  2. The Rudd Federal Government has doubled the First Home Buyers Grant from $7,000 to $14,000, while those First Home Buyers who build a new home - will get a triple grant of $21,000. This Commonwealth assistance is for the 2008-09 financial year, so it expires on 30th June – in just a few months - time to go for it right now! With a massive budget deficit facing the Government there is no guarantee of funding being available to extend the Grant after June 30th.
  3. With real estate prices having come down, rents going up and affordability improving and lack of cheap land, there will be a squeeze at the lower price brackets.

So what does this Great News mean?..... it means NOW is the time to get in to home ownership... Yes, you read correctly!

To assist First Home Buyers along their way, I'm personally conducting the 'The Great Australian Dream – Your First Home' seminar for only two evenings this year Tuesday 17th March at 7pm, and seats are filling fast. (Tuesday 3rd March is BOOKED OUT).

Tickets are COMPLIMENTARY (valued at $30 each) so you must REGISTER NOW. This evening seminar will be a no-nonsense, no-hype, informative & powerful look at how people are becoming home owners for the first time – using little or none of their own money and getting off the rent treadmill.

The knowledge you'll learn from this 90 minute seminar will enable you to confidently move forward in your dream of owning your own home.

You'll walk away from the evening with knowledge like this:

  • Discover why you should be buying your own home right now
  • Understand the financial traps in paying out “dead” money in rent to your landlord
  • Exploring the First Home Owners Grant for both the $14,000 Established and the $21,000 New Building Grants.
  • How to apply for the First Home Buyer Grant and are you eligible?
  • Finance – how to get no deposit finance and how to qualify for a loan
  • Ideas and informed opinions from our finance experts as to how much you can reasonable afford
  • How to avoid the pitfalls - what to look out for with Contracts, Offer & Acceptance’s,
  • You will see some examples of homes you can own
